Get a tutor

I never thought that getting a tutor would be of benefit for me. Finally, I tried it out –  in the Southern Spain there is a city called Fuengirola, where is located a music school “Nelson Music Academy“.

Being playing in bands for years, I never opened my mouth to sing. I had an opinion that I don’t have voice. I was wrong. Now, after 4 months of vocal lessons there is a lot to learn, but – I can sing! Everybody can!

Almost the same thing with piano. Thought that I am not able to reach new level. However, during my piano lessons I got some valuable hints, especially of how to harmonize songs. (By the way, Rick Wakeman is doing this nicely – listen to his “Grand Piano Tour” or “Living Tree” for example)

Logic Express 9

I recently moved out from garage… dropped the Garageband software and purchased Logic Express that is. Although this is a big leap ahead, there is a lot to learn.

Thus, I got book: “Logic Pro 9 and Logic Express 9″. The book is good, but without companion DVD, because it is the Kindle version… but so far – no problems at all!

Spain

I went into the creative vacation in the Spain, Benalmadena. The plan is to be here several months and write some music.

Unfortunately, I was not able to take Clavia Nord with me, but XioSynth helps me out.
